In Uttarakand news in English, the State cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat laid the foundation stone of the Government College Kaljikhal to be built in Diwai village at a cost of about Rs five crore. In his address, the minister assured that the college will be constructed in one year. He further said that degree studies will commence here soon and the students will not be force to move far from home for higher education.
On this occasion, MLA Rakumar Pori, district panchayat president Shanti Devi, district BJP president Sushma Rawat, social workers Ashok Rawat and Ajay Patwal besides a large number of kshetra panchayat members were present.
