All preparations have been competed for the launching of the heli service for Kedarnath dham. IRCTC Kedarnath helicopter booking is beginning at 12 noon on April 8. Notably, for the pilgrims, registration is mandatory for booking helicopter services. There will be no booking sans registration. It is also learnt that at a time six seats in the helicopter can be booked from one email id and 12 seats can be booked for the group. During the yarta, booking can be made twice from one id.
Mention worthy, char dham pilgrimage is starting from April 22 and the portals of Kedarnath shrine will reopen on April 25. Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority has completed all arrangements for the heli service. It is learnt that nine companies will run heli service from Guptkashi, Phata and Sirsi. This is for the first time that tele booking for heli service is being done online through IRCTC.
