With the polling process ending on Monday, polling teams from various areas started returning to collection centres. While many teams reached the collection centres on Monday itself, the teams from remote areas were expeted to return late on Tuesday night. SVEEP team Bageshwar welcomed polling teams with garlands on their return to the headquarters on Tuesday. The polling team was involved in facilitating polling in Borbalda  and Kunwari areas- among the remote and difficult to access areas of the district which is presently under snow cover. In face of difficult terrain, snow cover and the weather, the polling team carried out its work with due diligence to enable citizens to exercise their voting right. For this the SVEEP team commended the polling party. It is pertinent to mention here that there were a total of 11,697 polling booths in this Assembly election. Along with 80,000 officers/employees and about 40,000 security personnel- a total work force of about 1.20 lakh were involved in handling various aspects of the election.
