The Education and Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat along with Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt met the Union Education and Skill Development minister Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi on Monday.
In the meeting Rawat requested that the appointment of a permanent registrar should be made in the HNB Garhwal central university and discussed the problems of the employees of the university. He said that the budget for the second phase of the construction of NIT Srinagar should be made. Rawat said that the Union minister took the issues of both the institutes seriously and assured to solve them soon. The minister also visited the Vidya Sameeksha Kendra (VSK) at NCERT New Delhi and discussed the role of the VSK in education reforms and increasing the quality of education with the experts of NCERT. Former MLA of Pauri Mukesh Koli was also present on the occasion.
