Father & his two sons allegedly three men due to a property dispute

The Haridwar police on Monday arrested a man his two sons accused in the murder of Amardeep Chaudhary, a leader of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha who was shot to death on Sunday night. The three accused- Raj Kumar Malik and his sons- Manu Malik and Harshdeep Malik shot Chaudhary at his home in Kankhal, Haridwar on Sunday night. The police informed that the accused also fired at his brother and a friend who tried to save him, as per the police. All three were taken to hospital but Chaudhary succumbed to his bullet wounds. The senior superintendent of police of Haridwar Ajai Singh informed that a police team reached the crime scene on Sunday night immediately after receiving the information of a shooting in the area. He said that the police team inspected the crime scene along with the forensic team and field unit and recovered one pistol of 315 bore and four spent cartridges from the spot.

He said that the wife of the victim’s brother registered a complaint against the three accused on Monday and within a few hours of filing the complaint, the team nabbed all accused. The police recovered one pistol of 315 bore and one live cartridge from their possession which were used in the crime, said the SSP. He said that as per the investigation so far, the accused murdered the victim Chaudhary due to property-related disputes. The arrested three accused are natives of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh who were residing in Kankhal, Haridwar. It is also pertinent to mention here that several cases were registered against Chaudhary at Kankhal police station including under the Gangster Act.
