The Haridwar-based Patanjali Gurukulam said through a release on Friday that the institute’s class VIII student Urvashi bagged bronze medal in the three-day district-wise Uttar Pradesh state women’s boxing championship hosted by the Uttar Pradesh Boxing Association that commenced on February 20 in Bulandshahr.
The school’s office bearers further said that Urvashi had taken part in the championship under the 43-46 kg weight sub-junior girls category and added that the school was going all-out to hone sporting skills in its students to enable them make their mark in national and international sports competitions.
