In latest news from Dehradun, the State BJP brass says that the party is fully prepared for the upcoming urban local body elections whenever they are held. A saffron party insider said that his party starts preparations for the next election once an election ends. Echoing the same view, the State party media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that the party’s UBL election preparations have already been completed and they are just awaiting the announcement of the poll schedule. “Once the schedule is announced the party leaders will be given poll responsibility,” he added.
