Bank of India (BOI) celebrated its 117th Foundation Day on Wednesday. Several activities were organised by BOI Dehradun Zone under the leadership of Zonal Manager (ZM) of the bank, Jai Narayan including a plantation drive in the Government Inter College, Mehuwala. Besides this, 55 girls belonging to 11 rural branches of the bank were also presented with cheques of Rs 1,200 each. These cheques would be given to them every month under BOI’s Star Angel Scheme as part of its CSR activities. The bank has also approved 90.07 percent of the application received under the PM Svanidhi scheme.
