10^th All India Inter School Asian Challenge Basketball Tournament begins in The Asian School

The inaugural ceremony of the 10^th All India Inter School Asian Challenge Basketball Tournament 2023 (Boys under – 19 category) was held at The Asian School, Dehradun. This is a four-day event that will conclude on April 30. A total of 12 teams are participating in this event played in the league cum knockout format.

The teams are as follows:-

7. SRI RAM CENTENNIAL SCHOOL (SRCS) D.DUN         
8. 8. THE DOON SCHOOL (DS) D.DUN
9. ST. JOHN’S SCHOOL (SJM) MEERUT                          
10. 10. THE ASIAN SCHOOL – (TAS – A) D.DUN
11. WYNBERG ALLEN SCHOOL (WAS) MUSSOORIE        
12. 12. THE ASIAN SCHOOL – (TAS – B) D.DUN              

Principal, The Asian School, Dehradun Ruchi Pradhan Datta was the chief guest on the inaugural occasion.

The first match was contested between Corvuss American Academy (CAB), Mumbai & Wood Stock School (WS), Mussoorie. Corvuss American Academy (CAB), Mumbai won the match by the score of 54/16. The highest scorer of the match was Yogesh Yadav.

Among those present on the occasion were the vice president of The Asian School,   Madanjeet Singh Juneja and directors Vartika Shah and Gaganjyot Juneja.
