Kasiga School hosted the Geeta Path Competition that drew participation from 15 schools across the region. The event marked celebration of timeless spiritual wisdom and cultural heritage of the country, said the office bearers of the school, adding that the former director of higher education, Government of Uttarakhand Savita Mohan was the chief guest of the programme. They further said that the competition was a platform for young scholars to delve into the profound teachings enshrined in Bhagavad Gita and recite the shlokas from the sacred scripture whose relevance endures in today’s world. The judging panel for the competition comprised professor in the Sanskrit department at DAV PG College, Dehradun Ram Vinay Singh; professor in the Sanskrit department at State PG College, Uttarakhand Indira Jugran and professor in the Sanskrit department at S S University, Uttarakhand Poonam Pathak.
