Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (UJVNL) celebrated National Unity Day to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on Tuesday. Several officials and employees of UJVN Ltd were in attendance during the event. Speaking on the occasion, the managing director of UJVNL Sandeep Singhal said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel made significant contributions to the freedom struggle by unifying the countrymen before independence and played a crucial role in the integration of various princely states into the Indian nation even after independence. He also appreciated Patel’s remarkable work towards ensuring the integrity and strength of the country. The employees of UJVNL pledged to embrace the values and ideals of Sardar Patel’s life and follow the path he paved.
