The Dehradun head office of Uttarakhand Gramin Bank (UGB) hosted a one-day workshop for the corporate business coordinators working with the customer service centres at the State and district levels. The bank officers said that 20 representatives had participated in the workshop.
The UGB chairman Hari Har Patnaik provided detailed information about financial inclusion in the workshop and the important role being played by customer service centers in providing financial facilities to all the people of Uttarakhand. Further, he stressed on the customer service centres’ participation in the social security schemes run by the Government of India like Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana as well as Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and door-to-door Kisan Credit Card campaign.
