Responding to allegations leveled by the Congress regarding bureaucrats, the Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt said that every bureaucrat in the Pushkar Singh Dhami government will listen to the public and their representatives. Those who fail to do so will face major action as in the past within constitutional limits. Talking to media persons here on Sunday, Bhatt said that in the BJP government, every bureaucrat will have to pay heed to issues of the public and their representatives while also taking necessary action. Strict action will be faced by the official who doesn’t do so. “Earlier too the CM has talked to those who made errors and also took action against them when needed. As far as the Congress’ breach of privilege notice against the chief secretary is concerned, the episode comes under the purview of the Vidhan Sabha speaker so it will not be proper for me to respond on it. We believe that the speaker will consider all aspects and direct appropriate action in this case,” said Bhatt.

Meanwhile, the BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that during the Assembly session in Gairsain, the Congress was indulging in unruly behaviour while ignoring public interest issues but is now pretending to care. Responding to leader of opposition Yashpal Arya’s allegations, he said that the Congress was raising ruckus both inside and outside the Assembly as its focus was not on debating public interest issues in the house. He said that the figures cited by Arya regarding the State debt are incorrect, stating that less than Rs 20,000 loan was taken 2017 to the present and that the debt on the State at current is less than Rs 68,000 crore. Regarding the budget present in the Assembly session, he said that allocations have been made in it to meet the requirements of women empowerment and development, health, education, labour and the employment sectors.
