The Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari is coming to Dehradun on April 6 to study the progress of work involving the under-construction Delhi-Dehradun Expressway. This aside, he may make some new road project announcements for Uttarakhand during his stay. The Union Road Transport and Highways Ministry has confirmed the visit of the minister through a letter though the details are yet to be announced. It is also learnt that he will inspect the progress of work up to Ganeshpur and Asharodi. Gadkari is likely to address the press during his tour and inform about new road projects for the state.
