The Central Bank of India regional office organised a mega credit camp at the DAV (PG) college here on Friday. Various branches of the bank approved loans amounting to Rs 40.46 crore to 308 beneficiaries in the camp. General manager from the bank’s central office in Mumbai, Mukul N Dandige along with the college principal KR Jain presented loan approval letters to the beneficiaries. Earlier, the regional manager Arun Kumar Pathak welcomed the gathering. He informed that as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the bank is undertaking a campaign throughout this month across India offering various loan schemes.
