After a young man who was working in a hotel in Rishikesh of Uttarakhand died under suspicious circumstances, his relatives alleged that he had been murdered by his friends by drug overdose. On the complaint of the deceased’s relatives, Raipur police station has registered a case of murder against his friends and seized the deceased’s mobile phone and other belongings for investigation.
Giving details, Raipur police station chief Kundan Ram said that the incident happened in the Donali area under Raipur police station limits. The deceased Siddhant Tyagi, a resident of Raipur, who worked in a hotel in Rishikesh, came to his friend Aditya’s house in Donali without informing his family members. Here he is supposed to have partyed with his friends Karan and Aditya. However, Siddhant was found unconscious the next morning. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
The SHO said that the real cause of his death would be known in the post-mortem and thereafter the next action would be taken.
