Leaves of doctors & Health staff cancelled in view of intensifying military conflict

In latest news from Doon, taking note of the ongoing military showdown between India and Pakistan progressively intensifying, the Uttarakhand government has cancelled all leaves of the doctors and Health department officials with immediate effect. The State administration is on high alert and the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has been constantly monitoring the evolving scenario, post Operation Sindoor. State administration sources further said that the CM has been convening high-level meetings from time to time to take stock of the State’s preparedness in case of any emergency.
Further, keeping in view the strategic sensitivity involving the international border areas of the State, the CM asked the district magistrates and the top police brass of the districts with international borders to remain on alert mode, given the volatility in the military conflict scenario.
