Launching Rozgar Mela or the recruitment drive, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has handed over nearly 71,000 appointment letters virtually to those joining various government departments. Rozgar Mela was launched from 45 places across the country. Along with the Central government departments, appointments were made in the State government departments and those of the Union Territories.
Joining letters have been given for posts like gramin dak sevak, postal inspector, commercial-cum-ticket clerk, junior clerk-cum-typist, junior account clerk, track maintainer, assistant section officer and many others.
