Dhami exhorts all to make U’khand #1 by 2027

On the third day of his tour of Udham Singh Nagar district, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami heard the grievances of the public in Khatima and also interacted with representative organisations of various fraternities on Sunday. Thanking the people for the welcome accorded to him, he said that the support of all people is necessary to make Uttarakhand number one among Indian states in education, health, tourism, agriculture, transport, industry and various other sectors. He stressed on the need for collective efforts in order to achieve this aim.

The chief minister said that the cooperation of the citizens is vital in enabling him to discharge his responsibilities more effectively. “Our government wants to make Uttarakhand a good model where the atmosphere for various activities is conducive with good condition of industry, tourism, education, health and ample employment opportunities. The government will also work on pendency. For this, the officials have been directed to ensure the works at the relevant level and not to keep any application pending. The responsibility of the official concerned will be fixed if any negligence in work is brought to light,” said Dhami.

The chief minister also said that redressal of issues faced by the industry will be undertaken on priority. The announcements made and works for which the foundation stones were unveiled, will be completed on priority basis by the state government. Thanking the people for their affection and trust, Dhami said that he will work hard to achieve all round development of the state. Later, the chief minister also held a meeting with the district office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The district minister in-charge Yatishwaranand, MLAs Prem Singh Rana, Rajesh Shukla, Kumaon commissioner Sushil Kumar and others were also present on the occasion.
