A father and his daughter died while the man’s wife along with their two sons were injured when the motorcycle they were on collided with an unidentified vehicle on Thursday. The mishap occurred in the Kaliyar police station area when the family was going to attend a function.
According to sources, Aslam was riding a motorcycle with his wife Ruksar, daughter Nisba, sons Farhan and Nawazish on it. They were going from their home to Salempur to attend a marriage function. Their motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle on the highway resulting in the deaths of Aslam and his daughter on the spot. Kaliyar police station officer Jahangir Ali said that Aslam, a resident of Bahabalpur in Bhagwanpur police station area, was going towards Haridwar riding a bike with his wife and three children.
As soon as they reached in front of Swadeshi Pharmacy on Imlikheda-Bhagwanpur bypass road, an unknown vehicle hit the bike. The 28-year-old Aslam and his five-year old daughter died on the spot. The police reached the accident site on being informed and sent the injured to hospital by ambulance.
