Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a surprise inspection of the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA) on Wednesday during which he took stock of the working of the CM helpline number 1905 and integrated command and control centre.

In the control room of the CM helpline, Dhami heard the grievance of one Lal Singh of Pachyona village of Almora. He directed the District Magistrate (DM) of Almora to take immediate cognizance of the complaint. Singh had complained on the 1905 helpline number  that the food civil supplies department had cancelled his ration card without any prior information. The local ration shop dealer has refused to provide ration to Singh. Interacting with Singh, the CM assured that his issue will soon be resolved and directed the DM Almora to ensure that the District Supply Officer (DSO) of Almora disposes of the complaint.

Inspecting the integrated command and control centre of ITDA, the CM also took stock of the traffic situation. He directed the officers that traffic should be effectively managed and strict action on traffic rule violators should be taken. Dhami directed the employees working in the 1905 control room that they should patiently listen to the public grievances and talk in a pleasant manner. He said that the grievances should be sent directly to the department concerned. The CM does a monthly monitoring of the CM helpline 1905.

The secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram and Vice Chairman of the Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) Bansidhar Tiwari accompanied CM.
