Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (PTCUL) celebrated Harela at Bindal sub-station on Monday with the participation of the managing director PTCUL PC Dhyani.
The MD also visited Kumaon and led the PTCUL team to celebrate the festival at 400 KV sub-station in Kashipur of Udham Singh Nagar district.
While in Kashipur, the PTCUL team led by the chief engineer Hitendra Hayanki placed sand blocks, boulders and logs in the river to protect the power substations and the towers from getting flooded due to rain.
