The Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a reduction of Rs 100 in the prices of the cooking gas cylinder, marking the International Women’s Day. He wrote on X formerly known as Twitter that this move to reduce LPG price would not just lighten the kitchen burden of the women but also facilitate a cleaner environment, improving overall health of the whole nation. While hailing the role of the women power in his commemorative message, he said that it is now discernible in aspect of the national life and added that his government is committed to women empowerment in multiple realms like education, entrepreneurship, agriculture and technology
