BJP election in-charge & co-incharge to reach Doon today

The Bharatiya Janata Party election in-charge and Union minister Pralhad Joshi along with the co-incharge RP Singh and Locket Chatterjee will arrive in Dehradun on Thursday. They will attend 10 programmes including four organisational meetings during their two-day state tour. The BJP state president Madan Kaushik and general secretary Ajey have finalised the schedule of their activities during the two-day stay.

The BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan informed that the party’s election in-charge and co in-charge will arrive at the Dehradun airport at 10:30 AM. Party workers will welcome them at 10 sites between the airport and Dilaram Chowk. The leaders will then garland the statues of BR Ambedkar at Clock Tower, Deen Dayal Upadhyay and pay tributes to statehood movement martyrs. In the afternoon, Joshi will hold a meeting with state office bearers of the party, district heads and district in-charge. At 4 PM he will attend a meeting with members of the Sikh community, after which he will hold a meeting with the party in-charge of media and social media. He will then attend a meeting in the night which will also be attended by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the party’s state president and the general secretary to discuss the future programmes of the party.

Chauhan further informed that on September 17, the leaders will participate in a sanitation campaign as part of the Sewa Samarpan Diwas to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. They will also attend fruit distribution programme at the Coronation Hospital. After that, they will attend a meeting at the BJP state office with those made election in-charge of Vidhan Sabha constituencies following which a Press conference will be held. The meeting of the BJP state core group will also be held in the afternoon, added Chauhan.
