Bisht given important assignment in U’khand AAP

A  day after he broke his 40 year old association with the Congress party and joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in New Delhi, senior leader Jot  Singh Bisht was made the coordinator of state organisation of AAP on Saturday. Announcing the appointment of Bisht to the post, the state president of AAP, Deepak Bali said here on Saturday that the party would get strengthened by the immense experience of Bisht. He also made 12 other appointments in the party organisation. The party has made Basant Kumar the senior vice president (Kumaon in-charge), Sishupal Rawat vice president (in-charge of Nainital and Almora and in- charge of Mahila Morcha), Sunita Bajwa Tamta vice president (in- charge of Khatima and Kashipur) and other appointments on important organisational positions in the party.

Bali said that AAP is concentrating on strengthening the party organisation and for it the party is working on ground level. He said that after holding deliberations the party would soon take a decision on the party’s candidate in Champawat by election.

Speaking on the occasion Jot Singh Bisht said that there is no value for a true worker in the Congress party. He said that he has given about 40 years of his life for the Congress party but today the party is in bad shape. Bisht added that he would now work dedicatedly for strengthening AAP in Uttarakhand.
