In latest news from Dehradun, the senior superintendent of police (SSP) Ajai Singh inspected a full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day parade slated on the Parade Ground and thereafter gave directives to the police officers concerned regarding the security arrangements to be made in the city on R-Day. He directed them to complete all works in conjunction with other departments at the earliest. He stressed on proper parking arrangements at preidentified places for the vehicles of the guests. Notably, ten platoons are participating in the R-Day parade and they include those of army, ITBP, CRPF, NCC and Homeguard. This aside, mounted police, fire service and central police units among others are participating in the R-Day parade.
