Additional chief secretary Radha Raturi stressed that action should be expedited and the procedure should be simplified to speed up execution of the announcements made by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. She also directed that all departments should upload the current status of execution of the announcements online.
Reviewing the execution of announcements made by the chief minister for Champawat Vidhan Sabha constituency here on Thursday, Raturi reviewed the status of announcements pertaining to PWD, Tourism, Urban Development, School Education, Irrigation, Medical and Health, Rural Construction and various other departments. She directed the Industrial Development department to complete the task of identifying land in and near Banbasa for construction of SIIDCUL estate while the Soldier Welfare department was directed to expedite construction of soldiers’ monument in Banbasa.
Similarly, the Sports department was told to expedite construction of a stadium in Banbasa, the Disaster Management department was told to construct the multipurpose disaster relief centre in Champawat and the Social Welfare department was told to erect a statue of BR Ambedkar and an Ambedkar Bhawan in Champawat headquarters. The Youth Welfare department was directed to expedite construction of a sports ground near the Hidimba Mandir. The additional chief secretary also directed the other departments concerned to ensure that execution of the announcements made by the CM are completed as early as possible.
