Police arrested a youth on the charge of kidnapping a woman in Roorkee. It is learnt that the man is being interrogated by police. The incident happened in the village Belda under the civil lines police station limits. The police station in-charge Baru Singh Chauhan said that the man named Sonu, resident of Kelanpur, has allegedly abducted a woman, resident of Belda village, who belongs to another community. Police further said that a love affair has been going on between them for some years. The relatives of the woman filed a case against the man in civil lines police station, charging the man with abduction.
