BJP government made Gairsain, just a summer capital: Dhasmana
The Uttarakhand Congress had demanded that the state government should release a ‘White Paper’ on Gairsain. Launching an attack on the BJP government the vice president of Uttarakhand Congress Suryakant Dhasmana said that the Trivendra Singh Rawat government is only interested in driving political mileage from the Gairsain. He claimed that whatever facilities one finds in Gairsain today were set up during the regime of the Congress party. Dhasmana said that the BJP government should take out a white paper on Gairsain mentioning its contribution in development of Gairsain. He claimed that since 2017, the BJP government has not placed even a single brick in Gairsain. Dhasmana said that the Congress wanted to make Gairsain as permanent capital of Uttarakhand and for it had planned a roadmap but the BJP by making Gairsain as the summer capital has made it clear that it is not in favour making it as the permanent capital of the state.
It is pertinent to mention here that the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat had recently declared that the upcoming budget session of the Uttarakhand assembly would be held in Gairsain. During last year’s budget session, CM Rawat had dramatically declared Gairsain as the summer capital of the state.
