Directions issued for attendance of Govt office workers

Pregnant women, 58 yrs + old workers with comorbidities to work from home

In view of the rising cases of Covid-19 in the state, the state government has issued fresh instructions regarding the attendance of personnel in government offices. According to the instructions issued by secretary (in-charge) Vinod Kumar Suman, women personnel who are either pregnant or personnel aged above 58 years and afflicted by serious illness will work from home. Such workers will be called to the office only under unavoidable circumstances. The differently abled workers in government offices (barring those in essential services and cases of unavoidable circumstances) can be given relaxation from attendance by the head of the office. If needed in official interest, any worker can be called to the office. These directions will not be implemented on those personnel who are deputed on Vidhan Sabha election duty and those who are working for facilitation of essential services. The district magistrate/ district election officer and head of department/ head of office will take decision regarding personnel on election duty and those in essential services respectively in public interest.
