The president of the Kumaon Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) Ashok Bansal said on Tuesday that the entrepreneurs based in Uttarakhand are looking forward to the global investors summit slated to be held in Dehradun in December. While lauding the initiative taken by the State chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in the matter, he said that the entrepreneurs are keen on establishing new industrial units and expanding the operating units in the State. He also hailed the State government’s move to digitally transfer the subsidy amounts into the accounts of the investors and exuded confidence that Uttarakhand would soon become an advanced State in the arena of industrial development.
He expressed happiness over the State administration having seriously considered the suggestions offered by his organisation and accordingly brought changes in the industrial policy. He said that industrialisation based on long -term policy is an imperative to boost GDP and ensure all-round development of the State, given its geographical location.
