BJP in election mode Union minister Joshi discusses manifesto, strategy

Will send teams to every assembly constituency for feedback and assessment before declaring candidates- Kaushik

The union minister and the in party charge of Uttarakhand for assembly election Prahlad Joshi has said that the election manifesto of BJP would be made in accordance with the social conditions of Uttarakhand. He was in Dehradun on Thursday to hold discussions with the election management, resources, special works and manifesto committees of the party in view of the upcoming assembly elections. In the meeting the party’s strategy for preparing the manifesto was discussed.

The minister also held discussions on the implementation of party programmes on ground, mega public campaign and upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting was attended by co incharge Locket Chaterjee, R P Singh, state in charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, former chief ministers Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank, Vijay Bahuguna, Trivendra Singh Rawat, Tirath Singh Rawat, General Secretary Organisation Ajey Kumar, Member of Parliaments (MP) Ajay Tamta and Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah and the in-charges of all committees.

Later interacting with the media persons the President of Uttarakhand BJP Madan Kaushik said that the party would send teams to every assembly constituency for feedback and assessment before declaring its candidates. He said that these teams would hold elaborate discussions with party workers and leaders on probable candidates and submit its report to the party which would be placed before the working committee.
