In latest news from Doon, in a re-jig in the police department effected by the State administration a day ahead of the Lok Sabha poll timetable announcement, four senior Indian Police Service officers have been assigned new posts. While the police superintendent of Pithoragarh Lokeshwar Singh has been shifted to Pauri as the senior superintendent of police the incumbent SSP of Pauri Shewta Chaubey has been transferred to the police headquarters in Dehradun. The superintendent of police Chamoli Rekha Yadav has been sent to Pithoragarh with her designation unchanged while the superintendent of police transport Sarvesh Panwar has been given the new assignment of the superintendent of police Chamoli.
