The Women Kickboxing League (WKL) concluded at Parade Ground. The State president of Uttarakhand Amateur Kickboxing Association (UAKA) Arvind Kumar Kotnala informed that kickboxing had been recently included under the Khelo India programme.
The WKL was organised under Khelo India in collaboration with UAKA to promote kickboxing. Rajpur Road MLA Khajan Dass motivated the participants on the occasion. About 200 female athletes from different districts of Uttarakhand along with 16 national referees and 21 coaches participated in the league, he added.
