She said that people rendered unemployed during the pandemic are heading towards their villages and for them MNREGS is the only hope. Attacking the government for not  giving any relief to the taxpayers Dasauni said that no tax limit was Rs 2 lakh during the term of Manmohan Singh government in the year 2014 and the Modi government made it Rs 2.5 lakh in the year 2015 and after that it has forgotten to increase the limit. She said that while the government failed to provide any succour to the general tax payers it made changes in the corporate tax plan to provide benefit to industrialists friends of the government.  Dasauni said that the people of Uttarakhand were hoping for an industrial package for the state and green bonus in lieu of its environment services but they were disappointed.

She added that the tourism sector of the state which is passing through a very bad phase too had laid hopes from the budget but this hope was also shattered by the finance minister. The Congress leader said that apart from being directionless the budget has nothing for the youth, women, employees and traders.
