Former chief minister Harish Rawat escaped unhurt with minor injuries when his vehicle met with an accident near Bajpur in Udham Singh Nagar district on late Tuesday night. He was travelling from Haldwani to Kashipur when his vehicle collided with a divider in the middle of the road. In the accident his driver and gunner suffered injuries. On hearing about the accident senior officers of police and administration rushed to the spot and carried the injured and the former CM to a hospital in Kashipur. The former CM informed about the accident and his well being on social media on Wednesday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami called the former CM on phone and inquired about his health.
