In latest Uttarakhand news in English, several bodies of monkeys were mysteriously found near the Bal Sundari Temple along Ramnagar- Haldwani road in Koshi range under Ramnagar forest division. Those who went to the forest to collect woods first found the bodies strewn around and informed others. On being informed, the forest officers and employees of Koshi range reached the spot. They took the bodies in their custody and sent them for postmortem. Mystery shrouds the simultaneous deaths of one dozen monkeys on the edge of forest. The forest officers suspect that a person might have made the monkeys eat some poison-laced food. The forest inspector Virendra Prasad Pandey said that the matter is being probed and if anyone is found guilty stern action will be taken against him.
