In Premnagar area, two groups of students belonging to two educational institutions- Uttaranchal University and BFIT College- clashed with sticks and rods. Some students were injured in the clash. Police have registered a case against all the accused students. SO Premnagar said that one of the accused students has been arrested and brought before the court. A report was sent by police to the institutions concerned seeking suspension against the students named in the case following which Uttaranchal University and BFIT College have suspended the accused students. Notably, two educational institutions suspended 11 students for getting involved in clashes.
