Northern Railway  DRM conducts inspections of railway stations in Haridwar

The divisional railway manager (DRM) of Northern Railway (Moradabad), Ajay Nandan held a meeting with the officials of State Infrastructure and Industrial Development Corporation Uttarakhand Limited (SIIDCUL) and conducted inspections of three railway stations in Haridwar and elsewhere on Wednesday. He first inspected the Pathri station and discussed the proposed development projects. Subsequently, he held a meeting with SIIDCUL officials in Haridwar and talked about increasing the participation of the industrial area of SIIDCUL and railways in Haridwar. He also discussed the future development plans at Pathri station to improve the rail transportation system to increase the revenue for the railway. He later inspected Saneh Road and Kotdwar railway stations. He also held a discussion with the officials concerned about increasing the local traffic in trains to increase the railway’s revenue. He also directed them to explore all possibilities to increase the traffic in the areas around Kotdwar and Saneh Road stations.  Senior divisional manager (Operations), Sudhir Kumar, divisional engineer, Bharat Agarwal, senior divisional engineer (Signal and Telecommunication) Nitin Prakash besides other officers of the division were also present during the inspection.
