Starring the father-daughter duo, Sonakshi and Shatrughan Sinha, the song Zaroorat reflects hope
The makers of Guzar Jayega bring us yet another song — Zaroorat. It is essentially a campaign for hope in these uncertain times. Its narrative has been headlined by actors Shatrughan Sinha and Sonakshi Sinha. They are seen together for the first time for a musical campaign.
Happy at the song’s release, Shatrughan and Sonakshi said, “We can’t wait to know the reaction of the listeners to the song and its narrative. We are rooting for it to be the spurt of hope we need currently and in the future. May the song inspire people to be kind to one another.”
The song features names from diverse fields including HE Dr Kiran Bedi, Padma Vibhushan Dr Sonal Mansingh (Member of Parliament), Laxmi Agarwal, Laxmi Narayan Tripathi and Ani Choying Drolma. It has been penned by Shravan Pundirr and rendered by artists such as Simran Choudhary, Ajay Keswani, Shruti Unwind and rappers Muhfaad and Violina. The track has been produced by Shishir Samant. It has been curated by Varun Prabhudayal Gupta, Founder and Managing Director, Republik Of Musik and Viral Motani, Founder, Beyond Music. The initiative has been directed by Varun.
