Students enjoy aspects of science at The Catalyst

Students are getting their curiosity on various aspects of science addressed by experts at a three-day science exhibition ‘The Catalyst’ underway at the Sunrise Academy. The exhibition is being held in collaboration with NCSTC and the Department of Science and Technology, SAMS, SPECS and Manthan Welfare Society. The inaugural session of the exhibition was presided over by the Raipur MLA Umesh Sharma ‘Kau’ as chief guest and Raipur block education officer Deepak Rana as the guest of honour. The event also witnessed presence of the local councillor Sanjeev Malhotra and SPECS secretary Brij Mohan Sharma. 

Exhibits in the exhibition are being monitored by noted scientists and experts including Rakesh Upadhyay (planetarium), Kavita (hydroponics), Ram Teerath Maurya (LED lights) Manmohan Lal and Krishna Kumar Rai (puppetry), Jitendra Bhatnagar (scientific explanations of myths and mysteries), Rajpal Panchal (fun with science), Neeraj Uniyal (quality of water and sanitiser), Hariraj Singh (soil quality) and Balendu Joshi (meteorology). The exhibition also had a free Covid vaccination camp for those aged 15 and above sponsored by the local councilor. 

The managing director of Sunrise Academy, Pooja Pokhriyal was also among those present on the occasion.
