In latest news from Dehradun, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate the two-day Global Investors Summit in Dehradun on December 8. The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami requested him to come to Dehradun and inaugurate the event. However, the PMO’s confirmation was being awaited. Now, with the State government having received confirmation from the PMO, the district administration and the police department have swung into action regarding the security and other arrangements to be made for the PM’s upcoming visit. Those in the administration privy to the details said that meeting at the levels of the chief secretary and the chief minister would be convened soon to review preparations for the PM’s Dehradun visit.
