SSP stresses on victim oriented policing during surprise inspection

The Haridwar senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh stressed on the pursuance of victim oriented policing. He said this while conducting a surprise inspection of the Manglaur police station on Monday. During his visit to the police station, the SSP interacted with the staff and physically inspected the mess, barracks of Kotwali premises and directed the in-charge present on the spot for necessary improvements. Singh then held a meeting with the police personnel and listened to their issues. He issued directions to resolve some of the issues on the spot and also motivated all the personnel to work together as a team. The SSP also directed the police personnel to focus on victim oriented policing.

He also issued directions for maintaining cleanliness and after conducting the surprise inspection of Manglaur police station, gave a message to the police personnel of Haridwar district that he may inspect any police station in the district on any day.

Later, while returning from the rural area of the district, the SSP boarded a school bus and shared some light moments with the students on Children’s Day. The SSP distributed chocolates among the children. He also gave them some tips to make their dreams of the future come true.
