In latest news from Dehradun, snowfall and hail have been predicted by the regional meteorological office for areas with altitude exceeding 3000 metres on three days from March 1 to 3. While yellow alert has been issued for Match 1 it is orange alert issued for March 2. The weather office attributed this snowy/hail spell to the western disturbance activities.
