SIIDCUL to provide 5 % rebate in industrial lands to women and ex-servicemen

The State Infrastructure and Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (SIIDCUL) will provide women and ex-servicemen with a five per cent rebate in industrial lands of its estate. This and various other decisions were taken in the 55th board of directors meeting of SIIDCUL on Tuesday.  

In the meeting, the board approved the establishment of an integrated manufacturing cluster at Khurpiya Farm in Udham Singh Nagar under Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC) scheme. In the next five years, Rs 50,000 crore will be spent on its establishment and about 50,000 people will get employment.

The board unanimously reduced the rate of land from Rs 2,800 per square metre to Rs 2,500 per square metre for the formation of aroma park and to promote aroma industries in Kashipur.
