In latest news from Dehradun, with a few days left for the much-touted two-day Global Investors Summit (December 8 and 9), an important meeting of the State cabinet is all set to start at 12.30 pm at the Secretariat. As per the senior officers privy to the details, though the upcoming investors summit is most likely to dominate the cabinet meeting, it is possible that the cabinet might take up Uniform Civil Code and nazul land for discussion. Besides, the cabinet is likely to approve the new pension scheme. It is further learnt from sources that the Cabinet might discuss the proposal of convening a special session of the State Assembly.
