Complete preparation for 6th World Congress on Disaster Mgmt: CM

In latest news from Dehradun, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the senior State government officers to complete all preparations for the upcoming sixth World Congress on Disaster Management slated in Dehradun from November 28 to December 1. Besides, while presiding over the review meeting in his residence, he asked the officers to go all-out to ensure grounding of the slew of MoUs being signed during his road shows in the country and abroad for promotion of the global investors summit scheduled to be held in Dehradun on December 8 and 9. He further said that to facilitate investment in the State, the investment-related policies should be made simpler and stressed that the State government would give top priority to those projects which are more Uttarakhand friendly than others. He also said that to attract investment, air connectivity in the State must be improved and reiterated that the State government has been working hard in the direction of Jolly Grant and Pantnagar airports being upgraded into international airports.   He further said that all efforts should be made to ensure regular flights from Naini Saini airport in Pithoragarh.
