The 77TH Independence Day was celebrated with verve and vigour at Doon Cambridge School. The celebration commenced with the unfurling of the tri-colour. While addressing the students, the principal Monika Pandey informed the students about the sacrifices made by countless number of freedom fighters which culminated in the country’s independence. The students performed a march-past to mark the day. Also, cultural programmes in celebration of the pluralistic and inclusive soul of India were presented by the students. Among others present on the occasion was the director HK Chhabra.
