Shailbala Pandya of Shanti Kunj Haridwar has been bestowed with the Global Priyadarshini Award 2022. This award has been given to her for the work being done by her in the field of spirituality and women empowerment. The award was given in a virtual programme organized by Priyadarshini Academy in the presence of the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu on Wednesday.
Pandya dedicated the award to her mother, millions of Gayatri pariwar members and Gurudev. She said that today is a very important day for her as today is both the death anniversary and birthday of her mother.
