The Nainital MLA Sarita Arya inspected the landslide affected area on Bhawali Road here on Saturday. During the inspection, she asked the officials of the Public Works Department to repair the road as early as possible. The MLA said that an alternate route to ITI should be opened to facilitate traffic till this route is reopened for traffic. Arya said that the landslide has been causing major inconvenience to people travelling from Bhawali to Nainital and students.
Considering this, roadways buses should be operated so that the inconvenience of the people is lessened. Buses should also be operated from Nainital to this area so that the people are able to travel to their destination. The sub divisional magistrate Rahul Shah, former position holder Shanti Mehra, local political and office bearers of the Tallital Vyapar Mandal along with police officials were also present along with the MLA during the inspection.
